Serve With Us
Presence Over Programs. Relationship Over Results.
Breaking Bread Outreach Ministries exists to walk alongside families and individuals experiencing crises and trauma with dignity, consistency, and care. Our volunteers are a vital part of that work.
Volunteering with Breaking Bread looks like presence, humility, and relationship.

What Volunteering Can Look Like
Volunteer opportunities vary by season and need, and may include:
-
Community outreach and networking
-
Food pantry distribution and supply support
-
Mentoring and relationship-based encouragement
-
Event support and logistics
-
Administrative or behind-the-scenes help

What We Ask of Volunteers
-
A posture of respect, dignity, and compassion
-
Willingness to learn and listen
-
Comfort serving alongside people navigating crisis
-
Honesty about your availability and boundaries

There is no minimum commitment — some roles are one-time, others ongoing.

Why This Matters
Vulnerable people in our community often face isolation, stigma, and exhaustion. Showing up consistently — even in small ways — helps rebuild trust, confidence, and hope.

This work aligns with our calling in Isaiah 61 to restore what has been broken and strengthen what has been worn down.
