About Us

Transformation is possible

Breaking Bread Outreach Ministries was founded in 2021 in San Marcos, Texas by Jacob and Erika Rosa, who have both overcome addiction through the healing and transformational love of Jesus. Since its inception, the ministry has been committed to helping others find that same transformational love. Our approach to serving others includes relationship building, creating welcoming spaces for individuals to explore their relationship with God, and addressing physical needs through the provision of food, clothing, utility items, first aid, haircuts, entertainment, and comfort. We place a significant emphasis on spiritual needs, offering community, sharing God’s Word, prayer, and baptism. Our Programs

These are the programs we are currently able to offer our community in Hays County.

Emergency Assistance

We provide immediate, short-term support to individuals facing emergencies, with the goal of preventing further hardship and connecting them to longer-term solutions.

Community Impact Events

Community Impact events are held biannually in March and October at various parks in San Marcos, TX. The goal of these events is to create welcoming spaces for individuals to explore their relationship with God, while addressing physical needs through the provision of food, clothing, utility items, first aid, haircuts, entertainment, and comfort.

Mental Health &
Case Management

Breaking Bread will soon provide a coordinated support service that helps individuals with mental health conditions access the care, resources, and advocacy they need to achieve stability, independence, and improved well-being.

What We Do

Breaking Bread is an outreach ministry focused on bringing the love of Jesus to everyone. We are servants of God seeking God’s will. Providing for the needs of people spiritually, mentally, and physically, and building relationships with people to advance the kingdom of God one life at a time.
